At Payroll Matters we believe that everybody's payroll matters and that the most important person is the one at the end of the payslip.

We know that your payroll is important and unique to you, but that you must follow the regulations. We use first class cloud based software to put your data at your fingertips 24/7. We process your payroll, pensions, send your RTI's  process your CIS returns and deliver your payroll, right first time, every time.

Before we start your payroll each period we will collect and apply any notifications from the HMRC in relation to your staff. We will then check the Pension scheme portal for any pension instructions that need to be applied pre-payroll such as Opt Out Notifications. We will then process the payroll according to your instructions and apply any correct calculations of court orders, statutory payments, add new starters and make leaver calculations.  We will assess each individual for auto enrolment pension compliance, NMW and ensure that they are on the correct National Insurance category for the periods payroll. 

Once we have done this we will send you the payroll for checking or confirm any ambiguous instructions with you. After the payroll has been checked and authorised we will ensure that the payslips are available to the staff on the pay date and will set up any payments via modulr, create banking files for you, produce your journal if necessary and send your Payroll information to the HMRC. We will let you know the amount that is due to be paid to the HMRC and the reference that you should use.

Our emails are monitored by the team through the day and we are available to call at the office during normal office hours.

We promise a next working day payroll delivery as standard for all clients. 

You will be charged based on your employee numbers and payroll complexity each month.

We invoice monthly on strict 14 day terms and are VAT registered.
